September 17 Meeting

Hey all,
Due to beautiful weather, the second general meeting will be tomorrow from 7:00-8:00pm on the Drillfield. We'll be having an interactive meeting on gear, where I will try to explain good packing techniques and necessary equipment for my favorite activity, backpacking. Since that shouldn't take too long I'd like to open the meeting up to allow everyone to bring their favorite piece of equipment or perhaps their own take on packing.
It will be fun to see the assortment of gear gathered on the Drillfield, so bring skis, fishing poles, backpacks, firestarters, hammocks, or really anything you like. If you left everything at home or are just beginning to go on adventures, still feel free to come and hopefully learn a thing or two. I will post an Outdoor Club sign near the trees beside War Memorial Chapel and maybe set up my ENO before the meeting.
