Welcome back and welcome new Hokies! Summer's over in a flash again and it's time to get back at it. We of the Outdoor Club at Virginia Tech are doing the same: in the coming weeks, you’ll see a lot of great activities posted on the Trips page.
For all our incoming freshman and transfer students – we’re glad you’re here! The Outdoor Club is a community for everyone who loves the outdoors, no matter how you prefer to do so (hiking, camping, cycling, rock climbing, rafting, and trail work to name a few). If you’re curious to learn more, look through the pages on the “About Us” section or find us at one of our upcoming events. Be sure to read about our Appalachian Trail maintenance program while you’re there.
We will be at Gobblerfest this Friday, handing out some cool information and swag. Then on Wednesday, September 5, we will have our first meeting. Keep an eye on our Trips page for more details on that soon.
